Nesreen Bottriell is the CEO of the Australian Muslim Women’s Centre for Human Rights, an organisation which works to advance the rights and status of Muslim women in Australia. Overseeing program, service and research design and implementation on a range of issues including gender equality and family violence prevention. Nesreen has also led a number of research projects and publications focused on family violence, forced marriage, racism and Islamophobia and is passionate about using her personal and professional experience to advocate for social justice, equity and the rights of marginalised women, children and their communities. She brings over 15 years’ experience supporting organisations in community development, international development, Government and not for profit sectors. A qualified professional, Nesreen holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm, CPA), a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Community and International Development.
